• Mentoring

In this fashion industry, where all the jobs are so specialized, it is sometimes difficult to find the training you need in the depth you feel essential for your professional growth and being able to have a constant contact with the updates.

This is how a Mentor can help you to develop your career as you wish, to improve your skills and attitude.

  • Seminars

My seminars are meant to be a place where you can pick up new ideas, keep updated, face a different point of view or even spot an optional and alternative scenary.

I have a global visión thanks to my career in the whole textile chain (from fabric production to garment exportation), thanks to all the people I have met in my way and all the companies I have worked for.

I am willing to provoke different thoughts, arguments and ideas which will lead into different behaviour, doing things “differently” to obtain different results.

  • Academic training

My goal goes into 3 directions:

    1.

That students join a Company knowing already which career they want to have and how to get there.

    2.

Having the correct tools to achieve it successfully.

    3.

Making students valuable for a Company.

My lessons are mainly practical and based on case study, on situations that I have experienced during my profesional career as a textile and garment manager in the áreas of Sourcing, Product, Export, etc.

Having worked for very different companies such as on-line start-ups, retailers, small and worldwide companies.

  • Training in Company

The success of a Company is not due to one person but to one team.

Collaboration and mutual understanding are key points. Sometimes we just need to develop our own abilities and knowledge.

Let’s train the whole team on technical subjects so all the team members are aligned, their performance rocket increase reaching their goals, their motivation is stimulated and the internal atmosphere is opened to new ideas, comfy and friendly.

    I suggest:

    • A training focused on designers, sourcers/buyers, merchandisers and product managers, based on my experience, on my life-loving- job as soucing team set-up.
    • To learn and talk the language of the suppliers and of the team members; understand the needs, do’s and dont’s of the others.
    • To be able to name fabric, dyeings, prints, treatments, washings, finishings… Having an idea on technical requests, costing and breakdowns, about international negotiation in the textile industry.
  • Integer malesuada commodo nulla

From the fame and memory of him that begot me I have learned both shamefastness and manlike behaviour. Of my mother I have learned to be religious, and bountiful; and to forbear, not only to do, but to intend any evil; to content myself with a spare diet, and to fly all such excess as is incidental to great wealth. Of my great-grandfather, both to frequent public schools and auditories, and to get me good and able teachers at home; and that I ought not to think much, if upon such occasions, I were at excessive charges.

Let nothing be done rashly, and at random, but all things according to the most exact and perfect rules of art.

Let opinion be taken away, and no man will think himself wronged. If no man shall think himself wronged, then is there no more any such thing as wrong. That which makes not man himself the worse, cannot make his life the worse, neither can it hurt him either inwardly or outwardly. It was expedient in nature that it should be so, and therefore necessary. Is any man so foolish as to fear change, to which all things that once were not owe their being? And what is it, that is more pleasing and more familiar to the nature of the universe? How couldst thou thyself use thy ordinary hot baths, should not the wood that heateth them first be changed? How couldst thou receive any nourishment from those things that thou hast eaten, if they should not be changed? Can anything else almost (that is useful and profitable) be brought to pass without change? How then dost not thou perceive, that for thee also, by death, to come to change, is a thing of the very same nature, and as necessary for the nature of the universe?
